"Starving Artist"

When someone decides they want to become an artist, the typical response is a starving artist joke "how you gonna pay your bills", "Ramen Noodle life, etc."... Not everyone who wants to pursue the arts seeks to be the next Picasso up in some big time museum. Art is everywhere and is essential. Those nice product labels, an artist was responsible for that. That fancy dinner spread at your favorite restaurant- culinary artists had a hand in that. Your clothing, the home you live in along with the furnishings; I can go on and on. I get it, there is no guarantee that everyone will strike it rich and live in the lap of luxury, and yes at times you will have to take on multiple jobs to make "art" work. Remember, art is broad: so many possibilities: graphic design, illustration, interior design, culinary arts, advertising, architecture, art therapy, fashion design, just to name a few. If it ever gets to the point where you feel like you may starve, use wisdom and shift gears.  Thankfully, I've been well fed and I thank God for supplying every single one of my needs. AMEN!!

So well said. I love this article.
When you find your true passion, all you want to do is just do it, it doesn’t matter if you get anything out of it. Just the act of doing it is your fulfillment and the rest comes after.
We don’t need to know you for a long time before realizing how passionate you are with your art. You do it out of passion and love and you always keep others in mind. I’ve met you not so long ago and you are a true gem Ronda. Keep up

  • I can really tell that Ronny puts her heart & soul into her products or ‘works of art’ that she makes. Each item that I have purchased from her makes me smile when I look at it & that alone keeps me coming back for more.
